"Chrome Hearts LLC has reached a preliminary settlement with Nordstrom Inc. over the retail giant’s alleged sale of apparel and jewelry with infringing marks, the parties told a California federal court.

The American luxury brand and Nordstrom told the US District Court for the Central District of California Monday in a joint notice that the settlement in principle is expected to be finalized and fully executed within 45 days of the filing. The parties said they also expect the suit to be dismissed within that time.
